Christmas Baubles!

It is finally here! The song we’ve all been waiting for, the song to spread all Christmas Cheer to everyone, set to destroy what we know to be Christmas singles!

Christmas Baubles has been several years in the making! The song was initially written in December 2021, shortly after the release of The Plant Pot Concerto, Harry David’s debut single.

He explains that he was on a long drive, late at night. While driving down a particularly windy country road, far away from the bright lights of the city, he was getting tireder and tireder, sleepier and sleepier until suddenly, there were bright lights and a load noise to jolt him back to his senses. And so Christmas Baubles was born! (Now, it turns out those bright lights and noise was a tractor coming the other way down the road, but no one needs to know about that do they (it was also only 6pm in the evening)).

From there, it was a painstaking journey off filming, recording and crying until the pain and beauty of Christmas Baubles was realised in both the lyrics and the music. It is the most thought provoking music we have heard for years. If Harry David really is going to be alone this Christmas, who is going to play with him, who is going to give him the time, who is going to share in the Christmas wonder? All these questions are answered in the masterpiece that is, Christmas Baubles!
